Labelle's new disc in three decades--Back to Now--in stores today! It's good to see Patti and the girls together again. Never been a big Patti Labelle fan or anything, but how do you all feel about their new album? I heard the new tracks, "Roll Out" and "Candlelight" and I was a little excited (even though "Roll Out" really didn't impress me one bit.) Anyone buying this one?

I agree.I just listened to the whole album and it's disappointing.I was expecting some gritty,70s-styled funk...reminiscent of their heyday.There are a few good songs,but not enough to make me buy this CD  | |

well though i'm not a fan of the awful album cover...looks almost photoshopped to me, I did hear snippets of the album on the Steve Harvey Radio Morning show this morning. The only song I liked was the one that Lenny Kravitz produced. The other songs sounded like a bunch of "older" women who could still sing but needed some extra cash by doing this project. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
