So has there ever been a Bobby Caldwell thread on the org?

I love this guy. I listen to Coming Down From Love on almost a daily basis. We got to talking about blue eyed soul and I wanted to mention him.

Any fans of Catwalk? cool

I'll probably post some music of Bobby (YouTube) here tomorrow or something. He was more than "What You Won't Do For Love". smile

Yeah, there have been several threads on Bobby, but they usually fade so quickly---- but this one has lasted a lot longer! biggrin

Another one of my Caldwell favorites, called "My Flame"

I see you
In a lonely place
How could u be so blind?
U still regretting the love u left
Left behind

Oh darling
I see yo ugo through the changes
Sitting alone each night
Are you expecting to find the love
Love that's right?

I'm not familiar with Catwalk, but I know about Cat in the Hat. I mostly listen to the Anthology releases, but I did play alot of Heart of Mine tape, yes I said tape from 1990. biggrin I've seen him live 3 times over the last 17 years and he was great every time.

You know his race didn't freak me out. lol What freaked me out was how talented he was. He was a guitar player but I think he plays the hell out of the piano and keyboards too. I wonder if he plays drums too, he seems like a multi-instrumentalist.
