Yea so, what exactly is the big deal? I dont really separate the two Beyonce's everytime I see her because they both always do the same thing. I think the world has seen "Sasha Fierce" since her super hype campaign began back during the "Dangerously In Love" album.

Paisleypark4.....I just wish she would spend some time making a QUALITY album just once. Listening 2 her lyrics and production, this material is as cookie cutter as it comes. She can sing and has legit talent, but her material is lacking big time.

I PERSONALLY think Beyonce's voice is overrated, her beauty is overrated, her talent in general is TOTALLY overrated, and I believe deep within my heart that she would not be as successful as she is if she were dark-skinned. Plus, the fact she is placed on such a pedestal irritates me to no end, however I do understand we are in a new day. The standards for "Icons" and talent during my generation are quite different than the standards today. So while Beyonce would not have faired well against many of the artists of my generation, by today's standards, she is at the top of the heap. Though Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Jill Scott, and Tweet could sing circles around Beyonce just from a 'vocal control/technical ability' standpoint alone, today's standards will keep Beyonce on the top and ultimately land her in the history books as one of the greatest of all time.

We had our time for our icons, now it is time for this generation's icons and they can choose whomever they please, despite our generations objections. Whether we like it or not, Beyonce ( and Lil Wayne) are headed for iconic status by this generation just like Prince is one for us.
