I sing this in the shower.

Not as often as "We Are The World", though.

Seriously I do. I've been singing that shit almost daily for the last 2 years.

I even sometimes sing, hum or whistle "We Are The World" in public as well. My friends have to tell me to behave and cut it out. I don't know, it's some odd regressive-type compulsion.

This song saved his album. "Til The Cops Come Knockin'" didn't do much as the lead single, and then when this cut dropped - Urban Hang Suite was a certified classic. That then got people into his whole album as a concept and he "blowuptuated" after that, and rightfully so. Arguably the most sensual R&B album of all time.

nod

I saw the vid for "When . . ." and I was like . . . how could this nappy-headed brother with goodwill clothes and a nasty crib get ANY play from the ladies?

lol

Then I saw the vid for "Ascension" and I was like, "okay, now I understand how . . ."

(I'd say LET'S GET IT ON is a candidate for most sensual R&B album ever as well, but that's a wholenotherthread.)

lol Exactly. And yep, Gaye's WGO? is the only other contender in my opinion.
