PLEASE! SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THIS SONG!

I heard some guy in a car today blasting this one song. And I never knew who sang it, but I heard it when i was younger. It's a 90's (early im guessing) R&B song. I know the chorus goes something like. "Ahhhh Ahh Ahh Ahhhh" (Not screaming, and its not Earth Song lol). Presumably sung by a black man/group. Has a Shai type of sound. If anyone knows a song that fits this description, please help!

Can you give any more? Like a lyric or something?

It might be a track from 1994 by Snap (feat Summer) called Welcome To Tomorrow (Are You Ready?). It has a chorus similar to how you describe.

I just cannot take any ballads from the New Jack Swing era at all - well, save the one that goes "let me lick you up and down til you say stop". It's the whole "let me put my mack on you and I'll freak you till dawn" wanna be Prince ullbish, and it's so contrived.

No. That's not it. The song I'm looking for is an R&B/Soul song, and it's slow. That song was techno-ish. And was sung by a girl. The one I need is sung by a man/men.

hmm There are plenty of New Jack ballads that aren't like "Freak Me" at all, including these classics:

Make It Last Forever

Piece of My Love

Goodbye Love

Roni

I'll Give All My Love to You

Let's Chill

I Do Need You

How about coming up with some lyrics? lol

I assume the song is in 4/4. What's the rhythm of the "ahhs"? Are they in unison or is there harmony?

The suggestion of "Love Me Just for Me" makes me think it could be "Spark of Love":

...or, at the risk of asking the obvious, is it "Yours" by Shai?

I have a little more info.
When the chorus is sung ("Ahhhh") it is sung 5 times at time.
For example, Ini Kamoze's "Here Comes The Hotstepper" chorus, "Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na." is sung 19 times at a time.
So this song I'm looking for, "Ahhhhh" is sung 5 times at a time.
And about Snapvine.com, I can't sing for shit. Any type of shit! sad

What is the rhythm of the "ahhhs"? Like in your Ini Kamoze example, the 1st, 5th, 9th, 12th, 15th, and 19th nas are all longer than the others. Also, the song is in the 4/4 time signature with the 1st, 9th, and 19th nas coming on the down beat (1).

More suggestions: "You Bring Me Up" - K-Ci & JoJo (OK, so it's not a ballad)

Thery're all about the same, but it's as if they're progressing . The fifth one may be longer since that's the last "Ahhhh"
