Nikka Costa's Tour Dates are Announced, including her New CD release date

I found this off of Dr Funkenberry's website this morning. I went and saw Nikka in May and she's off the charts! You should check her out. nod

I told you we had some Nikka news for you later this weekend. OK, OK, so we are a day late. Sometimes that happens.

It appears that the funky white woman Nikka Costa will have her new CD “Pebble To A Pearl” now being released Tuesday, October 14th. We are sure it will be worth the wait.

Also, Nikka has a slew of upcoming appearances & tour dates ready to roll.

PLEASE NOTE! These appearance and tour dates have NOT been confirmed and are subject to change. If any changes happen, we will let you know.

Here are the dates we obtained NOT CONFIRMED NOT CONFIRMED NOT CONFIRMED:

8/30 Aspen Jazz Festival (Bob Dylan, Ziggy Marley-Confirmed) Aspen, CO
9/10 CTIA (Cellular Tech Information Assoc.) Performance San Fran, CA

Nikka Costa rocks and if she is coming to your town, I would circle the date and be ready because Nikka is one of the best live acts out there. We are looking forward to “Pebble To A Pearl’s” release and making it her best sella eva!-Dr.FB
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I'll definitely be at another NY date if Nikka plays here. Of those three possible NYC locations, I'd prefer Webster Hall. B.B.Kings might be too big a venue for her and their stage seems tiny.

I'm guessing she's trying to get booked at one of those venues, but has not committed to any of them yet.

I saw her at Double Door the last time she was here. Tiny place but great show, great energy from the crowd. I'd love to see her at Metro.

She tore it up when she played here earlier this year. I was standing close to the stage and there was some serious glass cutter action going on.

I was very disappointed when she got married and had a baby. I thought for sure she would have fell for me once she saw me in the crowd at one of her shows. sad
