That's a tough call, but I'll have to choose the Bee Gees' version. More lushy and smooth. "Everything Must Change, Nothing Stays The Same!"

I always thought it was cool the way they placed two versions of this song in the movie and on the soundtrack.

GAWD, I love them both! Depends on my mood - upbeat or more laid back. But I loves those

It was originally written for Tavares, the Bee Gee's had no intention of singing it. Their version only ended up on the soundtrack at the last minute. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Bee Gees. I don't like Tavares. Blanche: Oh, I do love the rain so! It reminds me of my first kiss.
Dorothy: Awww, your first kiss was in the rain... Blanche: No, it was in the shower.

If it's close, the tiebreaker for me is always the composer(s).

The Bee Gees, because the strings machine they used is badass! Tupac "Makaveli" Shakur (RIP 1971-1996) & Michael Jackson (RIP 1958-2009)
2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.

Love both, but on a night of drunken karaoke I prefer the Tavares version because it has more "soul" and I don't have to sing in falsetto.
