And i unlike you always put down the artists i love when they do shit, i put down Mariah when she does a shit record, i put down Janet when she does a shitty record. Bowing down and saying everything they do is great is not being a fan, you will learn that some day. I Kissed A Girl will go down as the song of the Summer of '08 . ;IMO
due to its somewhat controversial nature and it seems like Katy Perry is all over magazine covers and getting all the media attention about now. I think its mainly about what was the big summer hit, as opposed to the "summer song", the summer song idea and what its represented, doesnt exist anymore. I think what people dont remember is that the summer song idea is that it can be identified with a time.
