Delaney & Bonnie & Friends - "Comin' Home"

Classic tune written by Bonnie Bramlett and Eric Clapton (before he was a successful solo act). The group first recorded the song on this live album:


On Tour with Eric Clapton (1970)

And later on their last studio album:


D & B Together (1972)

Because the "& Friends" portion of their act was Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Leon Russell, Booker T Jones and others, the duo are often overlooked in the history of rock and soul. They've become a favorite of mine in recent years. There's a lot of musical history on stage in this performance. I hadn't watched it in a while (probably since last I posted about it lol) and came across it while searching yootoob.

Indeedy. She co-wrote (with Leon Russell) what is probably my favorite pop recording of all-time...

I used the forum search function to see if they'd come up recently, and they hadn't. I did, however, see that you'd listed them in your concert roster. Jealous!
