Their album with "Start of a Romance" was kinda alright back in the days. I can´t say I liked a lot of their other stuff, though.

"A lot of men don´t like eating pussy and I have a problem with that!"

Absolutely, the drummer is related to my son. Tommy wrote "Let's Celebrate." It's unfortunate that they couldn't go further with their group during that time.

The patience and love I am blessed with, has been the golden key to my strength and survival.

Yeah, they kind of went away when the "supergroup" platform faded in the mid-80s. A lot of groups were effected: EWF, Cameo, Bar-Kays, etc. were all effected.

Yeah, Midnight Star and Full Force were affected too...do you know the exact reasons why suddenly all of these great groups disappeared ? I mean, I would understand the break up of two or three but ALL of them ? Kinda strange. Was it a marketing thing ?

Hey Banks, thanks for the links wink

They were better than I remembered them. I will definitely go and check out more of their stuff. I wasn´t really THAT familiar with this group because I was too young to appreciate their music back then but these clips opened my eyes.

I loved that one when it came out in 1986(?).
Time flies.

Does anybody else remember their song, "Let's Get Up (S-K-Y-Y)", from their first album? Back in the late 70's, the funk radio stations used to ride that tune heavily, but I never see it on any compilations, and it doesn't get mentioned in most discussions on the group...Just wanted to know if anyone else dug it....still my favorite Skyy tune...
