sowing the seeds of love...classic

High time we made a stand and shook up the views of the common man
And the lovetrain rides from coast to coast
D.j.s the man we love the most
Could you be, could you be squeaky clean
And smash any hope of democracry ?
As the headline says youre free to choose
Theres egg on your face and mud on your shoes
One of these days theyre gonna call it the blues

And anything is possible when youre sowing the seeds of love
Anything is possible - sowing the seeds of love

I spy tears in thier eyes
They look to the skies for some kind of divine intervention
Food goes to waste !
So nice to eat, so nice to taste
Politician grannie with your high ideals
Have you no idea how the majority feels ?
So without love and a promise land
Were fools to the rules of a goverment plan
Kick out the style ! bring back the jam !

Anything...
Sowing the seeds
The birds and the bees
My girlfriend and me in love

Feel the pain
Talk about it
If youre a worried man - then shout about it
Open hearts - feel about it
Open minds - think about it
Everyone - read about it
Everyone - scream about it !
Everyone
Everyone - read about it, read about it
Read in the books in the crannies and the nooks there are books to read
Chorus !

(mr. england sowing the seeds of love)

Time to eat all your words
Swallow your pride
Open your eyes

High time we made a stand and shook up the views of the common man
And the lovetrain rides from coast to coast
Every minute of every hour - I love a sunflower
And I believe in lovepower, love power, lovepower !!!

Sowing the seeds

An end to need
And the politics of greed
With love

I was just playing their Tears Roll Down retrospective yesterday.

I hope they are still earning royalties and living comfortably from the songs they recorded because they're each little nuggets of life comprehension.

Just last week I saw one of the TFF guys, Curt Smith, on one of the late night TV shows.

The song was rather weird compared to TFF, kind of a spare, new agey thing with a female back up singer and a guy playing a big wooden box like a drum. I think there might have been an acoustic guitarist but I can't remember.

Just a few people on stage and the song had a high falsetto part to it that didn't work for me.

Curt looked old.

I love the Sowing the Seeds of Love album, a proper paen to the Beatles.

I love TFF. Their reunion album, Everybody Loves a Happy Ending is excellent -- I think it sits comfortably alongside their best albums.

One of the main reasons why I love Tears for Fears so much is that because when I really little I heard their music. I don't remember where, I would hear it, it could had been my parents leaving the station VH1 while they were cleaning up the house or something but ever since then, everytime I hear Tears for Fears, it brings back great 80's baby memories.

My favorite is "Everybody Wants to Rule the World", that song to me is just the epitome of the 80's. Next fav is "Head over Heels"...love that song. music
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Totally agree.

Curt Smiths latest solo album "Halfway Pleased" is pretty good too, even if it borrows a little too much from Radiohead.

I love the "Elemental" album. Quite a few great tunes. The one hit, "Break It Down Again" is a classic. Also, the title track and the 2 songs about the TFF breakup, "Fish Out Of Water" and "Goodnight Song" are great. I think he did a tribute to Brian Wilson on this record too.
