Tower of Power: Only So Much Oil In The Ground

I just heard it today!! What a prophetic song. . and a VERY funky one, at that (typical of TOP, of course) music

Definately one of my favorite TOP tracks.

Actually, if you can find it, try and track down In The Slot (1975). It's probably their most underated album, and IMO contains some of their tightest grooves.

...these albums that preceded it (when they had their "voice" Lenny Williams).


Nothing against In The Slot, it's just that those 3 albums set a standard that's been hard for them to TOP. wink
