Hold my Hand is a sweet song and for some reason, the collab works! As long as they release this and it's nowhere on the new album, it's cool with me. It is a sweet summer song after all.

I can't see this happening and really don't want it to. I'd take another greatest hits album with a new b-side over this shit any day. Akon is garbage. It is bad enough he messed up WBSS - Now he wants to shit all over Michael's comeback.

Why can't Michael just do a callabo with MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice and call it a day? I mean, if he does this shit, he is one step away from that anyways.

Will.I.Am is one thing. Kayne is one thing. Akon is another and it isn't good. It isn't even tolerable.

All that being said, seeing Michael in a music video would be cool. I guess I'll just have to push the MUTE button when it's on.

If he had left that in - I might have excused that remix and liked it better. The only highlight of WBSS08 was..Michael. (For the little bit he actually did.)
Which doesn't say much about Akon considering that "remix" was more or less his baby. He changed a lot of it (props for trying even though the overall results made me cringe) LOL.

Well, I didn't say the remixes were better than the original songs... or good at all... I'm just saying, of a bunch of bad remixes, his was the best!

Besides, in the remix he was singing about the sexiest girl in a negligee (sp?), your highlighted part wouldn't make sense in that context at all!

I see this happening- Akon has said himself it's the first single off his new album and that it has MJ on it.

I hate akon, but obviously MJ sees something in Akon that some people don't- regardless, it will probably be a massive hit, just like WBSS 2008 was.
