George Michael in concert

Just saw George Michael in concert last night here in Phoenix and he blew me and my wife away. This is the first time seeing him in concert and I got to tell ya we think he was way better in concert than prince was in his last tour. Don't get me wrong Prince will always be our #1, but DAWN that was a killer concert.

I am so mad because floor seats at the Houston show are going for $85 because of low attendance and I can't go...

Ya, but the tics we got we were on the lower level by the stage, so we were at a perfect viewing of the whole stage.

From what I've read that was the LA show but it wouldn't be much of a surprise if all of the shows end up that way since there isn't much marketing or press being done about it...

I saw him last week and he was AMAZING. Sounded great. Played an excellent range of material and I can't think of anything I would have wanted to hear instead. The visuals...drool were probably the best I have ever seen in a concert and went so very well with all of the songs.

Worth every penny of 175.00 I spent on that ticket.

If you like him in the slightest, I say go. It was a fantastic concert and is easily in my top 10, if not 5 of concert experiences. I heard tix are to be had cheap. Our group was offered two free tix. probably nose bleeds, but still free tix to a GM concert. Give em here!

I can't believe how everybody says he likes the tour. I mean, I found it fantastic. But it's the only tour i've ever heard of where NO ONE said in the slightest he doesn't like a bit!!
I have to say, watching it on DVD isn't very exciting but having been there... WOW, it was such an experience!!

I think it's becasue the music was tight, he sounded good, the set list was pretty representitive and most have not seen him ever or at least in a very long time.

I'm on the House of Blues mailing list and they sent the email. You might try signing up for the mailing list for the one Houston. You get updates on concerts at other venues too.

I'm on the HOB list as well since they are finally building one downtown but the Toyota Center is so half assed that they were selling the $25 tickets before they emailed people...

I'm guessing tix sales for the St Paul show aren't that great. I looked this morning and floor seats in the middle section are still available. We got comp tix at work and whenever we do, it's due to slow sales (I saw Prince free that way once lol). So...I'm going Monday! Section 104

Saw him 2 years ago right up at the front. Loved it cos it was Christmas and our rows got sprinkled with fake snow and everyone on stage put on Santa hats for Last Christmas.

He did so many songs I never cared much for before that I came out loving, Spinning The Wheel and Flawless in particular.

Very good show! We had a great time, and I couldn't think of a song I'd want him to do that he didn't. thumbs up! And, yes, the stage setup was brilliant. Really exciting!

Hell no! falloff We couldn't stop laughing about that. 8 o'clock prompt meant 8:40ish. And throw in a 20 minute intermission after about an hour. Nonetheless, still a great show.

When I saw him in San Jose a few weeks ago, it didn't start until 8:30 or 8:40. It is rare that concerts start on time. I didn't know what to expect either since he didn't have an opening act. Just try and get there as quickly as you can...safely of course.
