I hope (assume) he said it more tactfully than that.

Im not sure, i do know that Lionel is performing tonite on the TV land awards, which may seem like nothing but this award show gets more viewers than the Mtv awards.

When this reunion happens, what's gonna happen to J.D. Nicholas? He has been Lionel's replacement since 1984.Are they now just gonna push him aside? hmmm

It'll be just like the Temptations review with David and Dennis and the Heartbeats with Eddie Kang and Flash.

The 1st concert I ever saw- way back in 1984- was The Commodores with J.D. Nicholas. My friend & I thought he was so cute, we had a sign that said, "Lionel who?" lol (Hey! We were 16! boxed)
It was at the Great Adventure Six Flags in NJ...

I think I'd like to check out this reunion tour! nod

Milan played keyboards, not guitar.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Look, someone needs to tell these dusty ass bands not to piss all over their work with these sad greed-driven tours/jams/events where they have a bunch of studio singers and musicians behind someone with a piece of the DNA of an original member rubbed onto their knuckle.

I won't even get into the acts with all the original members who run around playing their four crossover mild hits and who have all the passion of a dead snail.

I know some people don't care or think it has something to do with age, but eff them. If anything these people should dump their effort into finding/grooming new, real talent and getting old footage themselves as well as outtakes and demos out there.

Not that I doubt you, but you should really post the link to an article instead of merely listing the source without neither a date nor a reference. By the same token, cutting & pasting is much better than a verbatim quote.

nod The perfect time for a reunion would have been the 90s,which is when they first started talking about it.We were going through a 70s revival back then and many Old School funk/R&B bands were getting back together and doing successful tours.Better late than never, though.
