Industry Darlings who can do no wrong... There are certain artists that people just love for some reason in Hollywood or in the music industry that can do no wrong. They good strangle a bunny in mid-day in Central Park and people would say "wow, isnt that person great"? Ok that was an exageration but you know what I mean. So who are they??

Like? IMO, she hasn't been in any "real" scandals. SHe can be scandalous without being in a scandel. I think sometimes esp back in the 90's before she had kids she would push the envelope of her vision and people wouldn't take to it all that much. Why put Robert Downy Jr. on that list though??? He got his ass kicked 24/7 for something beyond his control, a "health" issue. Downy was the only one EVER to do real TIME for drugs while everyone else goes to a country club prison and some dont, the other night i saw TI walking around at award shows, and this guy had intent to start a war with other people he had a "Beef" with. Downey only hurt himself, he didnt drive the wrong way like Ms. Richie, he didnt drive under the inlfuence every other day like George Michael and yet Downey did the time. So just because he is in a hit movie that everyone is going to see, he also did 7 in the last 2 years that no one but people who like GOOD movies cared about. a-ha "foot of the mountain TOUR 2009" a-ha "Ending on a High Note Final TOUR 2010" going everywhere! | |

Julie Burchill did an editorial a few months ago slamming Madonna, but that's the only such piece there's been and that certainly didn't "declare her career was over". As for the movie reviews, we all know it's safe to criticize her acting because she's had so many flop films, but she's no worse as an actress than she is as a singer, yet the industry overlooks that. You should be happy. Your girl gets the best press of anyone. If you think a handful of negative reviews means she's getting a rough deal then you're even more spoiled than she is (she recently burst into tears because Pharrell criticized her singing). | |
