PricelessHo, I did this for YOU! Bought this today:
Since she has been relying on those goddamn rappers I will not buy her music, even though eventually my initial rejection of Mimi turned into like and sometimes love on some of the cuts. I went against all my judgement and picked up this album because of how much I love you 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

This is exactly what I thought to. Believe me, he is the only reason I bought it I mean she doesn't have to go all old lady Vision of Love like how she began but still this rapping crap, honestly it drives me to the cliffs and I want nothing to do with anything involving those cretans Oh well, I'll find out later if I got ripped off or not 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I just saw the GMA performance. She deserves no one's money until she can actually fucking sing again.

OK, I am absolutely horrified by the first song The cher soundbox effect is just so over and it was OVER the first time Cher used it. Should have ended right there. The rapper is using the cher sound effect Is Mariah Carey really hanging with these idiots?
The second song has brought me out of my stupor Not stellar but miles above that other song 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Cruise Control
OK, can't stand Jamaican Rap in any music. Just a preference of mine. HATE IT! This song even though Marley lends his horrific voice to the song I like this song a lot. OK, I spoke to soon. I hate Jamaican affect in music and now she's copying it! Still a respectable song though. I Stay in Love Ok, the production remains the same here..... Not too interested in the slow stuff. Side Effects Hoping this is the last song with rappers. Not striking me instantly but I think this might grow on me. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I'll be Lovin U Long Time Love this song and think it will stand the test of time! Great pop. 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Last Kiss
Gosh I miss the days when someone like Antonio Sabato was a muse. Now it's these idiot thugs OMgosh. Trill! Too Real Just figured out what the hell that meant. Not a great song tho Thanks 4 Nothin' More needless commentary and grunting and groaning by these stupid asses. I think I am officially an old fart because I don't understand this part of youth culture. Why it's acceptable, why it's liked, why people aren't rioting in the streets. Think this is a good song with good lyrics and I won't listen because of that dumbass. Just awful. O.O.C This song doesn't sound out of control at all I expected some Christina Aguliera Dirty shit on this 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

For The Record
Don't even know what to think of this. Reminds me of what Denny and Terry tried doing with En Vogue on Masterpiece theater in that they tried going for a classical meets r&b sound and it was FAIL. So is this Bye Bye Can't say anything bad about this song because of the message is so sweet but there are some definite production elements I would change. I Wish You Well Wish she stuck more to this kind of thing. No production tricks, no stupid ass rappers. Just good ole fashione instruments and singing. This is what Bye Bye should have been. This makes me Long for Butterfly in the worst way Hell it makes me long for Mimi and I pretty much hated that album. Voices, don't bother I actually feel bad that I am not digging this and I know that it won't be a matter of getting acclimated to it. I hated Mimi and that album is excellent compared to this one. If this is supposed to be Super Mimi (i.e. squared) then it fails the mark. Oh well, I'll listen to the 2 songs I like and consider it a lesson learned and I still did it for you PHo 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Oh wait, I don't have an Ipod Wait, I have NO mp3 player. Well, I have an ipod but never bother to put anything on it so it sits unused! At least you gave Mariah a chance...I had no plans to buy this thing, and your review hasn't given me any reason to change my mind! I'm not sure how any Mariah fan can like this crap, considering the amazing stuff she's done in the past. Oh, well. I can't be bothered with her, anymore. All she seems to be about these days is record sales. She's a victim of her own ego. [Edited 4/25/08 19:04pm]
