I had no idea he passed away at 60, it went under the radar, I thought it was just a rumor.

I always took it that the title was an ode to Hendrix, since Jimi was using that title to describe his music. "Electric Sky Church". He even would use that to name his band for informal jams.

So Buddy did have a daughter. Didn't know that. That's cool that Bernie Worrell, dUg from King's X and some of the Family Stone members showed up at the service.
