I love love love "Too Shy"; it's one of my favorite '80s pop songs.

Also, Kajagoogoo was featured on my favorite episode of Bands Reunited.

And seriously, Limahl has the girliest singing voice of all time. I still have to convince myself that's a guy singing. lol

Too Shy - very cool.
Nick Beggs is a bad boy.

I must tell you, and i'm sure i'm not the first, when I initially saw a picture of these guys (and especially Nick Beggs), well.
It might be easier to paraphrase a segment of the Prince skit from Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories...

And Nick Beggs was like the new cat in Kajagoogoo that when he joined the group.
I heard mad cats was like, "Yo man Kajagoogoo got a new, new girl in there man, that bitch fine like a mf!"

They were talkin' about Nick Beggs. OK.
Nick Beggs is not a girl, a'ight.

falloff yeah, probably!!! First time I saw the dude I was like "Damn, who's the chick on Bass? lol ...It probably doesn't help that nowadays, he often performs in a Scottish Kilt, lol (what does his wife think about all this?)....

I Gotta admit though, I had'nt heard of stuff like the Chapman Stick and the E-Bow until these guys--Nobody else in Pop was using that stuff too much in the early eighties -- You had King Crimson in Progressive Rock, and the group Kittyhawk in Fusion at the time--maybe Bill Nelson with the E-Bow--but on the Pop charts?

Yeah, he and guiartist Steve Askew were the core of the group, anyway. with their second album, "Islands"(probably their best), they tried to show that they were serious musicians--with Limahl gone from the band, they wanted to put more focus on the playing--it actually sounds more like a Level 42 album....but nobody was listening by that time, so it didn't do that well....
