Actually I don't find either of them worth watching live.

Concert of a lifetime is the Stomes at Soldier Field a year or so ago. Jay-Z? Fuck no. I like Jigga on wax but live? I wouldn't go for free either.

I've seen Jigga live: it sucked. I've seen Mary murder her own songs on t.v. so shelling out 150 bucks to see them didn't make sense to me.

If they played in my backyard.....I'd leave the house 4 the day. i would not return until they left. I dig mary but live? These people need lessons....

These comments scare me: A post from a "fan":

If you wasn't able to experience this concert then words can't describe the enegry, excitement, and the greatness of Mary and Jay Z. One of the best concerts I have ever been apart of... If anybody gets a chance to buy tickets, I say buy them and you'll have the best time of you life. It's truly a event to mark down in history! I just wish Beyonce had made a apperance on stage! But besides that a great event!

Lies![/quote]I saw Jigga with 50 Cent three or so years ago. He acted like he didn't want to be bothered so I vowed not to see him again. I might of been jonesin to keep tickets but that was for my cousin Dewey.

I know at least 5 people who went for it, was it all that it was cracked up to be then? I like a lot of jay z and mary j.blige songs, but I don't think they are concert worthy

Exactly my point. I would not waste my time seeing ANY rapper live. Even the Roots bored me 2 tears live.

yeah I am not interested in going to rap concerts at all, I prefer going to ones where I know I will get a good, entertaining show eg. janet, beyonce, madonna someday (I always miss her, but not this time)

They'll be in Dallas on Saturday. I actually thought about going and checked TM yesterday for tix. They had front row center for $250 omfg shake Get tha FUCK outta here. Twice what I paid for Prince in Vegas, I think not. confused On the flip side, in the next two weeks Buddy Guy, Etta James AND George Clinton and P-Funk will be at House of Blues. Tix to those shows will cost half the price of going to see Jay and Mary holla on stage.

TM ALWAYS releases floor and front row seats the week of a show. I usually wait til then to buy tix. They sell the crappy ones early and in presales. wink

Hell, I wouldn't even have given them away because the people I gave them to would wonder what a bad ass motherfucker like me was doing with tickets to a dull ass show like that. It would look as if I was secretly a dull ass and couldn't go to the show because something came up. I wouldn't ruin my reputation, I would have thrown them away. lol
