Great voice by such a young singer. It's ashame how he just fizzled out.

Yeah, on his first 2 albums, Quincy was obviously trying to make him out to be the new Michael Jackson (top producers, cross over ballads, slow jams, etc..), and I love his first 2 albums alot, but yeah, he did drop off.

There were alot of singles lifted off his first album.

I think Tevin was the last of the classic, child/teen singers. The child/teen singers you get today don't exactly sing, they tend to rap more.

I dont think rnb kids/teens today would care about a singer like Tevin now. Sad but true. But its also to tevins credit he was an incredible singer for someone in his early teens. Kids like Tevin dont come around very often. Chris Brown is great for what he is, but Tevin was not your run of the mill teen rnb artist. He was the real deal.

That true. The RnB kids today probably don't even know what proper RnB/soul is. They probably barely ever hear people actually sing anymore.

music Still love this song. With just his first two albums, Tevin racked up a number of hits. Good times, good times...

I have always loved Tevin's singing because his voice tells a story. When I hear him sing , I hear a young man who have maturity beyond his years. Even though he was a child when he first came to the business , but as soon as he started singing I was so moved. He reminds me of a young lady that I know. The young lady is only 6 years old but you would not believe it because when she sings , she sounds very much like a teenager or young adult. Even though I don't listen to 90's r&b or pop , I do listen to Tevin Campbell. In my opinion , he is the best r&b singer from that decade.

I love Tevin! Wow, and what a support system he had behind him! I mean, Babyface, Quincy Jones, Prince...

Nowadays, people are excited to work with someone mediocre like Kanye, but he was backed by some friggin superstars cool
If you will, so will I

Tevin Campbell has/had a beautiful voice! I love Goodbye but my favorite Tevin song is Uncle Sam!! Or . . . Don't Say Goodbye . . .
“Wait a second. Do you think I’m a racist?”
“Sure, Butch. Everybody’s a racist. I am. You are. This is America. It’s our national religion. The question you want to ask is, do I think your racism affects how ... you behave toward me."

The real drums (by Michael Bland I presume), give the track a funk sorta feel. Great drummer is Michael...

Good performace. Nice find. I think Iam the only one who ever liked this song.
