Neverland Ranch foreclosed HOLY SH*T, it really seems that Michael has given up his (until the raid) beloved former home.
Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch is set be sold at auction on March 19. Jackson received word Monday from Financial Title Company, the trustee, that unless he pays off $24,525,906.61 by that date, a public auction will go forward in Santa Barbara, Calif., in front of the county courthouse. Personally, I don't think there are many Michael related threads right now and I think some people are getting overly sensitive to the MJ threads issue on this board. Michael isn't just going to disappear. [Edited 2/26/08 13:58pm] MJ Fan 1992-Forever

Not surprising, the guy obviously has financial trouble, you see not everything the media puts out is a load of lies.
Having said that I think Neverland has only brought bad luck to Michael. That place probably made him believe he truely was Peter Pan and it was ok to live in la la land until one or two issues brought him down to earth.

Everything goes there.

i think because of loans or something the only person he can sell it to is Sony. You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

Damn, Mike.
Well, I guess it ain't that bad since he said he wasn't going back there after the "raid". Then again, that was prolly just an excuse to he's having money woes. As jacked as it sounds the whole system sucks... I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

He already has. He is a has been in modern musical terms. Its only the obsessive fan base reporting on every fart that keeps him up front. I don't see any threads on here about Madonna or Mariahs house sales. They tend to be about their current work. Thats the difference. .

i think because of loans or something the only person he can sell it to is Sony. He'd be a dumbass if he sold that to anybody regardless of his situation. Thats a revolving cash cow. btw why didn't he just sell the damn neverland property in the beginning? it was generating too many bills as is.

I don't understand that shit either, he ain't been back since the trial. I don't see how he would wanna keep it if he ain't been back there? Common sense should tell you to SELL IT or something.

I see it slightly different: I think it's because it's Michael and the house has generated controversy for him.

Good, the place was just a bother anyway "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Now the best thing for Michael to do is get his personal belongings out of the house "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It's obvious he doesn't want that place anymore because he could've easily coughed up the 25 million.
The Thriller 25 collection is selling well, he's still getting money from the Sony/ATV catalog and MiJac catalogs and he could've done those shows at the O2 and solved this "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

It comes from Fox News. I suggest we wait to hear from Michael's spokewoman.

I don't see any threads on here about Madonna or Mariahs house sales. They tend to be about their current work. Thats the difference. Madonna and Mariah aren't currently in the top 5 in nearly every country around the world either. So I think you're undermining how successful Michael still is.

If you're a 6-year-old child, that would be cool. If you're a 36-year-old man, it's fucking retarded.

I know people way beyond 30 somethings that love Disney rides, just as much as 6 year old kids do. Beyond that, I agree with bboy, I'm glad he is selling the place. I'm sad, because I always wanted to check it out, and see those elaborate paintings of himself in person. Oh well, now all I will have is the pleasure of reading about it in "The Magic & The Madness." Taraborrelli's description about the insides of Neverland are mind-blowing. It is so fascinating to imagine. Way back in like 2004, I posted a thread at MJNO, calling for, "Photos from Inside of Neverland" and wow. His place was interesting on the inside and out - the say the least. [Edited 2/26/08 19:26pm] MJ Fan 1992-Forever
