Have Any Of You Seen Lupe Fiasco's Music Video For "Superstar"? The beginning of the video shows Lupe backstage, in a set very similar to Prince's "U Got the Look" video. There are candles everywhere, and they show Lupe beginning to doze off, then the music starts (just like in Prince's video). I swear he copied our man Prince! Irish Diplomacy: The art of telling someone to go to hell, and having them look forward to the trip.

I realized the EXACT same thing immediately. Goodness, I almost screamed when I saw that, and no one knew what I was talking about. LOL. It's really cool though. I love that song, and Lupe is VERY cool. I really like his style. Although that intro is basically a copy of the intro from "U Got The Look," with the transitions and everything, it's nice to see Lupe is inspired by Prince. It's like the "Sensual Seduction" video by Snoop, which is clearly from "When Doves Cry." I love it! For some reason, it's cool to me when rappers use Prince's ideas.
