Paula Abdul May Sing At Super Bowl 'American Idol' Judge Said To Be In Talks

NEW YORK -- It's a chance for people to judge Paula Abdul's singing, instead of the other way around. TVGuide.com has reported that the "American Idol" judge is in talks to perform during at the upcoming Super Bowl. The site quotes a source close to the singer-dancer that Abdul is already rehearsing for the video for a song with fellow "Idol" judge Randy Jackson. Abdul wouldn't be the only performer at the game, set for Feb. 3. Classic rocker Tom Petty will headline the halftime show -- and more artists may be added to the lineup in the weeks to come. What do you think the chances are of Tom Petty performing an MJ song? I ask this because Akon, who worked on Thriller 25, said something big would be happening at the Superbowl relating to Michael Jackson and Thriller 25. Perhaps the halftime show will be a tribute to Thriller. The only problem is, why Tom Petty? Paula Abdul seems a bit Jacksony to me so I can see her agreeing to doing this. But not Tom Petty. He has nothing to do with MJ. Why would to Superbowl even ask him? | |

If she is on, it will appear during the 12 hour ramp up to the show....Who cares!?
It frankly belongs on the "Who Gives a Shit" channel. If Paula really cared about having a musical career at this point, she should have done something right after American Idol. Something tells me waiting all these years is hardly because she shouldn't find inspiration until now! If anything, that show of hers (which I only heard clips from....I'm sure millions more saw or heard it after the fact) showed just what a soul less sad being she is. | |
