Willie Hutch = Underrated

A greatly underrated/unappreciated soul artist...

You never really hear anything about the man Willie Hutch, but dude was the truth. It's really hard to find one bad track by this brother. Mr. Hutch had some bangin' tracks and albums, cut's like "Love Power" "I Choose You" "Slick" "Brother's Gonna Work It Out" and "I Like Everything About You." Great LPs like The Mack, Color Her Sunshine, Foxy Brown and Fully Exposed.

Not to mention he was a great producer/songwriter ...

That man truly was a great singer-songwriter. Why he's not mentioned more than he is I don't get at all.

I'm only familiar with his work on the "Foxy Brown" soundtrack but I'll have to listen to some of his other stuff too when I get a chance.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

I'd say,get the Foxy Brown soundtrack.Every track on that is the BOMB!!!

The reason Willie Hutch is underrated I think is once again the lack of
interest from MOTOWN to promote their artists.

So much stuff that has not been released on cd yet.
Most of Willie Hutch soloalbums have never been available on cd and
those very few that has, was released a long time ago and needs some
serious remastring cuz it just doesn't sound as good as the LP's.

I thought when he passed away that finally they would put out his stuff
but still only a compilation here and there.

MOTOWN seem to be only intrested in puttig out the same old greatesthits
compilation of their artists with the same hits over and over again.
