From the clips i've heard , the album sounds very promising! I'm really feelin' "The Greatest X", "So Much Betta" and "What's Your Name". These new songs sound better than pretty much anything on "All For You", "Damita Jo" or "20 Y.O." IMO. I've dissed on Janet a lot in the past though, but good music is good music and I really hope she succeeds with her new album.

I've listened to most of the album and I love all the songs and think she has an awesome album on her hands! It deserves to be a hit, more deserving than Mariah for sure. I was hard on 20 YO and Damita Jo though it has it's share of good songs, so this is a great improvement and I can't stop playing the songs!

Janet will be MTV's artist of the week, and will be doing a series of TV commercials like what Alicia Keys did with the bunny the week of her album release (bunny turned out to be John Mayer).

Has this album leaked yet? Normally, a new album leaks a week or 2 before it comes out. If it's hasn't happened yet, then I'll be amazed. If it has, someone hook a brotha up!

I think Rock Wit You is a GREAT song. I can't get it out of my head and now that I had a chance to sample all the songs, I kind of understand how the robotic voice comes in. This is going to be a great year for Janet.

Janet to appear on Perez Hilton's VH-1 show tonight

Blogger Perez Hilton announced this morning on his blog that Janet will be one of the featured divas tomorrow night on his VH-1 special "What Perez Sez....About Divas."

According to the blogger, during the interview with Janet "there is a moment with boob grabbing that you won't wanna miss."
The episode airs Tuesday, February 19, at 10:00 PM ET on VH-1.

After listening to the full album all afternoon, I have to say that I adore it!

22 tracks of pure pop excellence!

I love about 50% of it. Edit out the fillers and interludes and it’s perfect altho I’m missing my staple baby-making song! But overall it’s a good album. So Much Betta than the last few efforts. Very happy for her steppin’ it up and trying new stuff.

Between this track and Kanye’s they might be getting some new love. Not that I want them to become hugely popular—I like my little underground ‘band’—but folks don’t know what they’re missing sometimes.
