Sweet, Sweet title track, and I looooove Moonchild as well, Rick was still on top of his game during this album. Definitely worth checking out for those of you who arent hip.

Despite its' reputation as a flop,'Glow is a decent little album...probably the last truly great Rick James album."Can't Stop" should have been a big pop hit.

Not just the bassline - just about the entire music track. Though I do like the Mary J. song, it's one of Jam & Lewis' laziest efforts.

I loved the album but i thought can't stop was corny. I guess i expected more
from rick as a lead single from this album. I also liked spend the night, melody, rock and roll control, and sha la la(baby come back home) which was
my favorited joint from the album.

Glow should be taken out and shot. The Glow title track was garbage.

Rick OFF drugs = Average. Rick ON drugs = Genius.

That Glow shit was fluff and filler. Poor Rick. I'll take "Wonderful" over Glow any damn day, and that ain't sayin' much.

That is so not true. That song was sweet. and what's with all of the Rick's music sucks when he's clear headed...I think it was just the opposite, he was stoned out of his mind during the time he wrote 'Wonderful' and that's my least favorite album by him. Yeah, Rick has made some sub-par music in his day, but so has the Purple Diva. At least Rick was stoned...what's Prince's excuse. I think 'Glow' was a jewel in the crown of Rick James and a testament to the music he was capable of making.

I agree. I thought wonderful save the title track was rick's worst album by
far. Hell the lead single loosey's rap which was totally wack made can't stop
seem like a grammy award winning song and that was the one track from glow
i did not like. Glow clearly wasn't rick's best work but it was a better album than most gave it credit for.

Even though we may disagree a little on the glow and wonderful albums, which none of
them were classics, by the way you are still a brother in the name of funk

I agree,'The Flag' is an AWFUL album.Musically, almost every track sounds like "Party All The Time" but without the fun lyrics of that song.Rick was feuding with Motown at the time and that was his last album for them,so he gave them a shit album lol
