She's got a naturally good deep soulful voice, but her record company makes her sing in a high wispy pop voice. See that's I reckon instead of performing Gimme More at the VMAs, she would've won the public back if she just stood there and sang "Maybe" by the Chantels or something like that. That's her style of singing and she would've sung it so beautifully that everyone would be on her side again. | |

Was this "live" singing before or after she started smoking a pack a day? If it was before, I doubt she would sound like that now. If after, then why the hell doesn't she sing live....oh, yeah, she's a puppet that does whatever her label tells her to do...forgot  Prince Rogers Nelson

Well not anymore. She hasn't been promoting her latest record since it came out but Jive's still releasing singles anyway. | |

She sounds better than she did in the video at the top of the thread, but that's really not saying too much. Let's just face it...Britney's not a vocalist. | |
