Terrible cover versions! We all know there's at least one song that's a favorite.....
then we hear a new version that is just awful. The inspiration for this thread: I love New Edition and the song "Jealous Girl". I just heard Another Bad Creation's version from 1990. sinead o'conners version of nothing compares 2 u 
anyone doing walk on by by dionne warwick 
and anyone singing on american idol  man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

Nothing like the original, which is superior, but good. I recently heard a terrible cover verison of "Love is the Drug" by Kylie...not sure if it was new. It was being played on the BBC1 station and all they listed was "Kylie/Love is the Drug 1967 cover" or something like that. Sounded like something from her "Indie" era. [Edited 10/1/07 14:59pm] | |

I'm suprised that nobody mentioned that wack-ass version of "All I Do is Think of You" by B5. They introduced this horrible version of the song to 21st century audiences and almost wiped away the good work done by The Jackson 5 and Troop's cover in 1988 (which I think is decent). | |
