Robin S - Robin S
Chic-ism - Chic
Crystal Waters - Crystal Waters

69 Boyz - 69 Boyz
Erotica - Madonna

Sons Of Soul - Tony, Toni, Tone
Are You Gonna Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz

Hell, there are some more but I would have to go in a closet and pull a whole bunch of cassette trays. In the 1990s, I bought mostly cassette singles or maxi singles. There weren't that many great albums in the 1990s once the 1990s really got kicked in.

Exactly. The majority of the stuff I listed from the 1990s wasn't even hits and the stuff that was hits in the 1990s was a bunch of dull bullshit. I didn't think a decade could get any duller than the 1990s but the 2000s proved me wrong. Actually, nothing is any different from this decade than the majority of the 1990s. Boring, midtempo, stripped down shit hop still rules the airwaves and the stuff that isn't shit hop never gets past midtempo. It's like kids these days have switched places with old people (in the past, old people hated fast music and young people loved it....now, it's the opposite).

Yeah, that's the one...I guess....it's the one with "Riding High" on it. Most of my 1990s stuff is cassettes and they are in trays in the bottom of my closet. I haven't pulled them out in a while. lol

I've recorded most of my old cassettes onto CDs but I haven't gotten around to the 1990s stuff yet. With the invention of the CD recorder, I was glad to put those cassettes onto CD because cassettes do not age well.....all that sounding dropping and sound being muffled and stuff....not to mention having to do all that fast forwarding and rewinding.

Transient would be bubbling under for me right now - a year ago it probably would have made the cut. These things are always shifting. I'm not able to be consistent with my rankings, unlike your brother.

I don't like MAQ as much as Transient, though I really love a handful tracks on it. And shamefully enough, to this day I still have not listened to Emperor Tomato Ketchup. I'll have to fix that one of these days.

You still need to post a list, by the way.

Haven't heard Dots & Loops either. Long story short - I went through a bit of a pinch financially around the time ETK came out, and couldn't afford to buy any music - a painful situation for me. By the time I regained my footing, I had lost a little interest in the band and never went back to pick up the albums I missed. I'm sure I'll buy it one of these days - just a question of me spotting it when my mood is receptive.

Same thing happened with Prince, actually - Emancipation came out around that time and I really just couldn't afford to buy it. When I finally was able to afford it, I didn't feel like buying it anymore, and I haven't bought a new Prince release since. Maybe I need to work on my loyalty a bit.
