Samhain (pronounced: sow-en) is a pagan holiday that is celebrated on October 31. It marks the end of Summer and the beginning of Winter. In the past, Samhain was a festival for the time between the old year and the new year. So why no Halloween for you ? | |

You gotta check out Roky Erickson and the Aliens' "The Evil One" from 1980. It's practically a Halloween ALBUM.
Night of the Vampire I Walked With A Zombie Bloody Hammer Don't Shake me Lucifer I Think Up Demons The Creature With The Atom Brain Two-Headed Dog ...and more! Roky's not too well known but should be, awesome singer & songwriter. He hits LA on Halloween weekend, an event I am REALLY looking forward to! And there's horror-punk gawds the MISFITS. Songs? Take your pick, practically everything they ever write was about mosters or demons or what not. And they have not one but TWO songs entitled Halloween! Other top picks: Ghoul's Night Out, Braineaters, Green Hell, Earth AD, Teenagers from Mars, Mommy Can I Go Out And Kill Tonight, Hatebreeder... Album 1 : ELGEY Album 2 : THE BIG GUNDOWN track 8 Metamorfosi track 5 is cool too, but not scary actually both albums are worth it IMO oh and Tre Nel 5000 on THE BIG GUNDOWN is nice and creepy too,, okay and 'once upon a time in the west' THE BIG GUNDOWN is a soundtrack from a movie and is like creepy 70's western acid trip and ELGEY is like chamber music on acid both EXCELLENT
