The Rolling Stones - best album

I've just inherited 16 albums of the band.
I've never been a stones fan, rather a Dylan fan.

Can someone tell me what is supposed to be their best album.

They must have some really hot songs like sympathy for the devil.
small circles, big wheels!
I've got a pretty firm grip on the obvious!

I don't know about best but I really dig Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Exile on Main Street, Beggars Banquet (mostly acoustic stuff), and Sticky Fingers
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

My choice would be "Let it Bleed", but you really can't go wrong with any of their albums from 68-72. IMHO, "Aftermath" and "Between The Buttons" ain't too shabby either...

Exile On Main Street is considered by many to be their best although I'd take Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers or Between The Buttons over it.

If you're just getting started you might want to check out a comp like 40 Licks and figure out what stuff of theirs you like the best, then start buying those albums.

Suck 'em and see.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

I've always really loved "Some Girls" and "Sticky Fingers".
