Oh yeah, she's got a ton of recordings that she made before she hit the big time. After high school, she went to Germany and remained there for several years...appaering in "Hair" and recording many obscure songs with various collaborators.

Yeah, Harley, Donna been around the block for a MINUTE now, like 40 years... did you know her first secular performance was in a rock group? So yeah, she's been out there for a long time.

A LIVING LEGEND for real. nod Her new album is supposedly coming in 2008. She'd be 60 on New Year's Eve! Wow...

What are you talking about? The woman is a certified legend smile nod

Aside from the homophobe rumor that hurt her career at some degree, she's a royalty.

I think she is credited but I think it's about the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. She's been eligible since 1999 but they hadn't nominate her for induction if I'm correct. Maybe because she STARTED her career in dance music while the Bee Gees (and the Jacksons) started out singing rock/soul/pop. But Donna did too, now, so that wouldn't be fair to compare them like that.
