A bad person really cant hold a fan base like she has, eventually if you are crap to people they will catch up with you. As far as this article, well like i said, interviewers will always ask her the same question because thats what they do, they have to have their HOOK to get readers and they always take the most familiar route. A lot of good points made. Thank you, the double standard thing really bugs me, we get bombarded with Videos by male artists where females are put into the videos as the eye candy and usually there is alot of interaction between the male singer/rapper and the females in the videos,and i never hear someone call out any male artist. I mean take Rick James, legendary for womanizing, take the Superfreak video, hes got three chicks all over him in the limo, what if Mariah was in the back of a limo in her next video with three guys up on her? I think SLUT would be the word we would hear everywhere. BTW, if you're gonna talk about Mariah's legs, you'd probably have to move it to the General Discussion forum. At some point, if you post a picture of Mariah's legs over there, someone will ultimately post a picture of their legs, and then people will be asking JustErin to post her body parts all over the post. Anyway, looking back at Mariah's breakdown and seeing how badly Whitney Houston turned out and how Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan have fared recently, her misfortune wasn't nearly as bad as we thought it was. Mariah tends to be all over the media when she is about to release an album or go on tour, but in between albums she pretty much stays out of the spotlight. For all we know, Mariah may be celibate right now or she may be the biggest slut in music, but because she generally keeps her private life private (wow, what a concept), we don't hear much about any of it. Nevertheless, I agree that if she were seen in public with three guys at once, she would be called a bigger ho than most pornstars. I think that Butterfly was her best album, and Mimi was a close second, and Glitter is probably her most underrated work. If she didn't have that crappy Loverboy song on that album, it would rank among her best. Having said that, I still think that she hasn't quite released her masterpiece album yet, and if she focuses on singing to her strengths in R&B and good ballads and leaves out the hip-hop stuff for at least one time, she could have the great album everyone has been expecting from her.  | |

I also feel she is not arrogant in her ways so to me there is a difference, she is not the type of person to really single out another person and rip them unless she gets attacked. As far as this article, well like i said, interviewers will always ask her the same question because thats what they do, they have to have their HOOK to get readers and they always take the most familiar route. I dont really take Mariah serious, and i think as the years have gone on neither does she, i think early on things were very cold cut and dry and she was too serious so to me she seemed more unapproachable as a person than she does now. As for her photos with younger guys, well, like i said Prince is almost 50 are you going to see him in a video with a woman thats 50 dancing up on him? Will you see Mick Jagger jumping on stage or in video with a 65 year old man? We make it seem like Mariah is over the hill, i mean she is 37, there is way too much focus on age these days. In the 80's you could have a chart that had artists with an average age of 30, now if you are over 25 youre old and done? I mean Mariah isnt pulling an R Kelly here, these guys are male models (most likely not "into"Mariah if you know what i mean) and we really dont know who Mariah dates, the guys that she has have always been her age, with the exception of Tommy Mottola but honestly i dont think "anything" ever really went on in their marriage. Supposedly Mariah has been dating this person that works for her, and has worked for her for about a decade is about her age or a little older, its a pretty secret relationship, because with Mariah if you see her with someone everyone thinks they are sleeping together, and with her i seriously believe her when she says the amount of men she has had a sexual relationship can be counted on one hand. But still why should she even be challenged on that? I mean Gene Simmons of KISS slept with what he has said to be over 1000 women, and everyone hears that and thinks "wow lucky guy" if Mariah said that she would be a "whore and a slut" so that to me doesnt make sense.
hey no one said she was a bad person.. she is obviously sincere.... but your a GUY so you don't notice that narsissitic quality about her... or you don't care... but i doubt you would be a fan... of another male artist that was the equvalance of mariah's quality.... NOT a guys Well i do know her behaviour, and hers is alot different than say a Whitney Houston who always came off to me as SUPER arrogant and the reason i could never like her, she always has been a big "turn off" because of that.
