And this is coming from a person who grew up listening to Janet and Madonna during the 80's, successfully caught up with the career history of Kylie during the early 2000's, AND watch too many girl groups come and go (En Vogue, TLC, SWV, The Mary Jane Girls, The Cover Girls, Expose, etc.).

FACE IT: Beyonce is little overrated compare to the impact Madonna has made on modern pop culture.

*Sigh* First the MJ vs. Madonna thread. Then the MJ vs. Elvis threads. Now the Madonna vs. Beyonce thread. What next? Prince vs. Justin Timberlake? Madonna vs. Janet Jackson? Wait. We already have countless threads on those subjects. Who cares? Both Madonna and Beyonce are incredibly hard workers and have earned much of their successes through perseverance and determination. All the power to them for staying on top in a sexist industry.
