When Michael was on top of his game(for me, late 70s-mid 80s), the cat was untouchable. He was the baddest entertainer on the planet, head & shoulders above the rest(including Prince). You're right, that MJ is long gone, but no one's great forever. Happens to everybody.

Thanks for the videos especially the mtv ones, alot of great memories there. He certainly was at the very top of the music tree then and had the best shows with electric live singing and the best dance moves. So popular with so many different types of people.

I remember hearing about all the big stars going to see MJ on the bad tour like phil collins, sylvester stallone, elizabeth taylor, grace jones, patrick kelly, gregory peck, diana ross, harrison ford, jon bon jovi, gottfried helnwein, liza minelli, gina lollobrigida, benny hill, president chirac, princess diana, prince charles, barbara striesand, lionel ritchie, smokey robinson, stevie wonder, tina turner, ava Gardner, joan collins, sophia loren, bob dylan, placido domingo, altovise davis, roger moore, sidney poitier etc. u name it they were there lol

Does anyone know if Jack Nicholson was an MJ fan? I once saw a picture of the two of them together, but I´ve never read anything about them.

LOL. He's STIL Great. That's why the Godfather, just before he passed on, told Al Sharpton "Where is Michael? Tell Mike to bring the music back."

I knowwwww. Let's be patient though. It'll be worth the wait. Have you heard about the "Mike We Want You Back Campaign". It's on youtube. People are making very creative videos. At the very end they say, "Michael, we want you back." Some of them are hilarious. lol.

I'm tellin' ya'll. We won't see a new album until 2008. When he starts popping up at shows and stuff, that's when you know it's coming lol

I miss Mike too. He needs a good album and some great shows or just performances. I remember him and James Brown at the 2003 BET Awards.

now THAT was a great black music history moment cool

I didn´t know Marlon and Jack were neighbours, but yes, I know about his friendship with Marlon. He thanked his several times in the booklets.

Anyways, here´s a picture of Mike and Jack, that´s why I was asking.

I didn´t know that. I gotta check those videos out.

I'll repeat: The Godfather, on his deathbed (RIP dear James) asked about Michael Jackson. "Where is Michael?" he asked Al Sharpton. "Tell Michael to bring back the music." Nuff said.
