New Klymaxx Album

Klymaxx has a new album comming out late summer early fall of this year. It's getting rave reviews already and they havn't even put a release date on it. So now there are two versions of klymaxx, Klymaxx(bernadette cooper, fenderella, penny ford, Robbin Gridder, Portia ????, Cookie, and maurean, and then you have klymaxx featuring Cheryl Cooley. I've seen the version with bernadette cooper. They were very good, don't know about the one with cheryl cooley.

wink wink wink wink wink

It's only worth buying if Bernadette Cooper is involved in the project. She is ultra-talented. I love her solo CD DRAMA ACCORDING TO BERNADETTE COOPER. It is heavily Prince-influenced and I love it.

Klymaxx without Bernadette Cooper....

.....is like Culture Club without Boy George
.....is like The Time without Morris Day
.....is like Kool & The Gang without Robert "Kool" Bell or JT Taylor
.....is like The Jacksons without Michael

It wouldn't be the same at all!

so,which Klymaxx is releasing the new album? lol

I always thought that they broke up too soon. They had two big albums in the mid-80s and next thing you know,Fenderalla and Bernadette are making solo albums
confused I really think they could have lasted awhile longer.

I never get excited when I hear an old group is releasing a new album because nine times out of ten, the new album is usually full of nothing but slow to midtempo music with a shit hop sound to try to compete with today's so-called artists. I rather see old artists stayed retired than ruin their good names with sellout albums.

I know what you mean.Evelyn King is releasing a new CD soon, and she says it will sound like today's music. The first single is called "Skillz" disbelief Hopefully,Klymaxx will resist the urge to do a shit hop album lol

Yeah i bought her solo album. On a scale of 1 to 10, i would rate it 6.
There were a few interesting tracks. The agency sent me was comical to listen to. My favorites were i look good and strait jacket love affair.
I was supposed to see klymaxx tomorrow night along with the ohio players, barkays, brick, and zapp. They postponed it for a later date and i rushed back in town for it. Very disappointed.

OFF-TOPIC: It could be the reason why The Beatles & ABBA have a lot of value today. There was never a reunion album or tour! hmmm

The whole CD is excellent. "The Agency Sent Me" is about child abuse....If you find that comical you need professional help.

If Bernadette Cooper has anything to do with this project you can bet Klymaxx is gonna be FUNKY and come from left field on ya'll.....They all were Musicians 1st.....I think they have what it takes to bring it.....Bernadette Cooper's Cd was the shyt and she brought SexyBack and all the funkyness she can muster.....So lets support our girls cause they made US "Men All Pause" cause they had a "Meeting In The Ladies Room".

You're tripping! ABBA kick ass with some tracks that are (IMO) way better than Dancing Queen:

ABBA -- Voulez Vous
http://www.youtube.com/wa...iMUcM-rWtY

THIS song is a jam. It's ABBA finest hour within the disco era.

I probably got the track mixed up with the very last song on that album where
she mentions you can't stop the rain from falling. Can't think of the title. My albums are in storage in my mom's attic until i get a bigger place. The music for the agency sent me is so awkward and the way bernadette sings it is what makes it funny. That album was not on my must listen to priority list so it was easy for me to overlook the lyrics for the song. For the record, i do not find the subject of child abuse comical, but it is nothing wrong with me finding the song comical.
