Biggest Rivarly In Music

What is the biggest rivarly in music. Is it prince vs mj, tupac vs biggy, beatles vs rolling stones or motown vs stax records. I would have go with prince vs mj because that is more my era and because the fans of both are so passionate about their icons. Feel free to list any other rivarlys not mentioned above and state why.
Prince believes he is a musical prophet that has been chosen by Jehova to guide his fans to the "truth".

Morrissey vs. Robert Smith.

If those two DIVAS were thrown into a boxing ring and allowed to go at it, you'd see blood, tears, hairspray, and MAC makeup smeared on walls! SMEARED ON WALLS!

Well let me change it to Michael Jackson V.S. Paul McCartney!

That was a shocker because controversy began when Jackson purchased shares in the ATV Music Publishing (a company which owned the publishing rights to most of the Beatles' songs), making himself the majority shareholder. This move angered close friend and songwriter Paul McCartney, who had also made a bid for the company. Ironically, it had been McCartney who advised Jackson on the merits of song ownership. Their creative co-writing kinda ended after this event. Michael was a backstabber! sad

Well yeah, and then McCartney had some mad beef with Mike, calling him a "big sellout" in one of his interviews...

He shouldn't have had to because Paul always thought that Mike was a jokie-joke type guy and when he heard that Mike was gonna buy some of the shares, he just thought it was a careless joke. So, in a way, Mike did do it behind Paul's back and that ain't right!? So now, who 's fault is it? Michael's all the way. lol

so ur saying it's Michael's fault that Paul thought he was joking lol that's not how things work.

It's Paul's fault for not taking Michael seriously. the second time Paul should have thought more about it but nooooo. so in this case it's paul's fault. people just love to blame Michael on this one like he bought it without telling Paul, and even if he did so what it's business

*Sigh*

I wish people would get there facts straight when it comes to this whole Beatles catalogue. The fact is this....MJ did tell Paul he would be placing a bid on the cataloge, he did tell him. Its a bit of a cop out for paul to go on oprah and mock MJ's voice and behave as though Michael stabbed him in the back. If that catalogue was so important to him, why did he and the other members allow another entity control of it before Mike did? Was he upset at that company too???

People need to stop making MJ look like the bad guy in all of this.....take some responsiblity Paul!!...you opened your damn mouth, Mj told you he was gonna bid, its your own damn fault for thinking he was playing around!
