Seriously though, as I listened to this album I was trippin on the whole matterhorn theme and I imagined that the mountain is very much like Dr. Frankenfurter's mansion and is really a spaceship that has been taken by the earth as its own and is just waiting for the rightful owners to return to commandeer it and fly back home where they came from. So far, their experiment with the earthlings is still unfinished.....

Also, the idea I always had about the title was "felt" as fabric but HBOs take on things makes me see it as "felt" as in feel. Perhaps a bit of both. Machines that cannot feel as touch and cannot feel as emotion. Humans that can do both. Worlds colliding that can never every truly understand each other and reconcile their visions because what it is to be human is not to be a machine and vice versa. Thank you Ocean for making my very first venture into this album remarkable!

I'm still in the dark Abierman has no excuse, though!
