Well, Winehouse Showed Up ...

for her San Francisco show last night. That girl is a hot mess. She took the stage wasted and sluring her speech. The first thing out her mouth was "Who ever gets me a Jack and Coke gets a kiss on the lips," flashing her missing tooth. The second thing out of her mouth was "I'm drunk." Her drink arrived and, as promised, she kissed the boy. After her third song, "I am fucked up. Fucked up! I know there are a musicians in the audience, but you don't try to fuck the monitor. THAT is fucked up." Sipping Jack between nearly every lyric, she proceeded through her set. Until, "Whoever brings me a shot of tequila ...no, TWO shots of tequila, gets a kiss wherever they want," as she weaved precariously, constantly playing with her nose.

So, the show... it was fantastic. Despite the fact that she was completely bombed, the girl was on. Definitely a star. The band was tight as hell and sounded great. Her voice was great and she was into it. Sadly, she will be dead in three years if she keeps drinking like she was last night. neutral

It was rather surprising. I would like to rip her performance, but I have to give her credit. She nailed the music.

I'm surprised she's made it this far. She's been performing out of her mind since before Frank dropped and I was afraid she wouldn't make it through but she's a tough one. I love her explicit nature good or bad but I do hope her story doesn't wind up a tragedy.

I'm glad it was a good show, despite all that, but I wish she

I find it hard to believe that she's taking drinks from total strangers in today's "roffies" era. I don't think management would be allowing that.

If she's onstage it's gonna be pretty evident if something is slipped in her drink, not to mention who the drink came from. I think it's relatively safe.

Glad she was able to "maintain musically" and you got your money's worth.
It's strange how people find her type of destructive behavior entertaining.

I must admit that i've fallen for Keef's act over the years myself.confused

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Why even go there, when the bar can have someone who works there get her a drink.

Yeah im surprised too, i have heard reports of her cancelling shows last minute and thats why it reminds of Fiona. Back when Fionas second album came out, Fiona was playing a club here in NYC, and she came out did 2 songs, she seemed a little buzzed, then she started cursing the sound guys, she started her next song, then stopped said "Fuck This" and stormed off the stage, the show was never made up and since it had started and the opening act also had played, NO ONE got refunded, very uncool.

Cause she was drunk and having fun. lol
I really don't think it was much of a risk. You generally give roofies to someone you're trying to rape, right? Considering there wasn't much risk of someone whisking her off the stage and away I think she's safe.

As for everyone else, yes, good advice. Unless you're a rock star performing on stage, don't take drinks from strangers.

besides, the people that wanted to give her drugs were not hiding it. There was this one little girl that was pushing through the crowd yelling "let me through. i have some dank bud for Amy." swear to god. confused

Yikes! I really, sincerely hope she gets help before it's too late! Someone important in her life NEEDS to step in. I know that ultimately, she needs to be the one who wants the help. What a shame.

I really don't care about her drinking, as long as you get what you paid for. You said she nailed it, so it's cool with me.

I love the way her record company uses her drinking problem as a springboard for her career... In nearly every promotion I've seen for her they mention her drinking problem and her refusal to go to rehab... Laught now. Cry later.
I'm an org elitist... totally unapproachable.

I think the record company using this to promote her is just ridiculous. A major trying to be hip and shit. I read about a video game where you have to keep her drunk (by th record company apparently, but I haven't seen it myself).
