OLIVIA, formerly of G-Unit fame

I love me some Olivia she first hit the scene with her self titled cd on J records with the #1 single Bizounce, she raps and sings and i liked her IMO, she is no powerhouse but i liked her, her album was'nt bad at all ballads uptempo jams. Olivia was on G-Unit records but was let go because she would'nt sleep with some of the unknown guys of G-Unit records....GOOD 4 Her.....I hear that other labels are interested so i wish her luck....She was WAY 2 good for G-Unit anyway...If she can get back to that formula from her debut and she has a winner.....share you thoughts...Start posting...LOL

She is someone that was signed by Clive Davis as one of the first artists to J Reocrds even before Alicia was signed, I know OLIVIA thought she wasnt marketed properly so 50 Cent saw her and thought she could fit as the only female in his camp, so after CANDYSHOP her album was supposed to come out, it didnt, it was delayed, then it was given another date, then it was delayed, and now 2 years later No album and she was dropped. Honestly she is WAY better off for a few reasons, their are some major issues going on at G unit and most of it is illegal, so i know most people think she is probably some 'slutty" girl but if you have ever seen her or read her interviews she is one of the smartest ladies and doesnt hold back when talking about the truth of what goes down. So seriously i hope she gets a new deal, gets some marketing, and craps on Gunit because their days are numbered especially now with Rap sales down 43% this year already and now with the backlash from the IMUS situation, people are demanding that not only someone like that be chased off the air, but explotiation used by rap music be penalized.

Olivia got dropped because she isn't a star and not interest worthy, she had three solo videos, 50 stopped his G Unit:Get Rich or Die Trying SDTK Lp for her and she still couldn't get any buzz, she had Twist it, she had that island video, and Best Friends and she still couldnt do nuthin

Olivia isn't a star if 50 could make Tony Yayo get a gold plaque, but Olivia can't generate any buzz, off two singles and her song with 50, best friend, and Clive Davis cant do it for you, then she should stop trying to be a recording artist, and just starting writing songs for other acts

Whats bullshit? She got dropped which is what i said they tried to get her out but got sidetracked by other issues that are going down at that label, Im in the business so i hear all the shit that goes on at these so called labels. Tony Yayo had one hit and his last cd did nothing, it shipped tons and tons got sent back to the label, certification dont mean shit, soundscan and riaa are all BULL they dont track anything but what you send to a record store, it doesnt track all the crap the record store sends back to the label when it doesnt sell, which is what constantly happens, record stores label this "return to vendors" better known as "Stiffs". Sorry that you cant handle what really goes on at labels.

Olivia refused to FFT. Great for her.

At least she's smart enough to cancel her membership with the 50 Cent's Kiss His Ass Club. Now I'm wonder if Young Buck would have the courage to do the same.

And Krazy/qv, I know 50 is your favorite rapper at all. But 50 gets no respect from anyone in the org. That houseboy is selfish. And it's a damn shame that you're too blind to see it.

I'm not a fan of Olivia by any means. But I hope she can finally release a hit album soon. I can tell that she has a lot of respect for her to never fall into the temptation of f***ing for tracks like most of these female artists of her generation.

If The Game can still money without 50, so can Olivia.

I wish her luck to and i think with a smart plan she can comeback and make a worthy effort that her fans would LOVE.....I do like OLIVIA.....Oh and for the record her debut went GOLD(500,000) Sold off of one single "Bizounce".....So she has what it takes and now its up to her to see what she's gonna do with it.
