Amy Winehouse...opinions on her stuff? I had her album on my hands today, but I did not buy it. Never heard nothing about this woman (nor have I seen videos of her stuff because I don't waste time seeing MTC)...still she looked so hot and made me crave to do her on the kitchen floor. I also know that she's a cocaine addict...

3 topics on her? You must really wanna know about her.  I haven't heard Frank, but I have listened to Back to Black a couple of times. I liked her right off the bat and she has a rich soulful voice. It's not too groundbreaking though, especially if you're fans of Etta James and Sarah Vaughn. "Rehab" is really nice, along with "You Know I'm No Good". I'm Lovin "You Know I'm No Good" I like Rehab and the clips I have heard from her website. They have been playing it on VH1 soul, and MTV2 Looking forward to the album. Love to hear real soul music, no matter where it comes from. As a white chick myself who sings, but brings the R&B flava, I am so proud. So pleased to see the white sistas really coming up, stepping up and proving that soul is truly colorblind. Props to Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone and the guys Elliott Yamin (album coming out March 20th Don't sleep!!), Robin Thicke, and others who are coming correct. I have tickets to see Amy here in NYC on the 13th. Her album won't be released here in the U.S. until that day so I've only heard the first two singles from 'Back To Black'. I love "Rehab". I'm expecting a big spectacle for that show.

She's brilliant. Saw her @ Joe's Pub last month and was blown away. He Can Only Hold Her, Me & Mr. Jones, Just Friends, Tears Dry On Their Own...and the list goes on. Back To Black is one helluva album. | |
