Once And For All, Why Do You HATE/Dislike These Male Artists So Much?

Try to answer the question within the order of pictures:

50 Cent

Usher

Justin Timberlake

R.Kelly

Bobby Brown

Kanye West

....and to make it fair for some of you ages 25 and under:

Prince/prince

Im not gonna like anyone who poses on the front of a hip hop magazine with an assualt weapon. (50 Cent)

Justin Timberlake is a pussy and I dont have any respect for him. Without the Neptunes and Tim, where would he be?

The rest of them I dont really hate at all. Some of them are really arrogant, some of them really foolish, but I dont hate them.

first off i wanna say i love me some bobby brown! i don't hate the others though for a while i used to hate usher mainly because he's so cocky but now i'm curious to see what he'll put out next. r. kelly i have no real opinion on but i sure as hell don't like his music, except for the song "ignition". i love prince and as for fiddy, whatever! jt is cool. he brought sexy back right? biggrin and kanye west really entertains me. i'm not a fan of his music (though jesus walks is the shit!) but his off the wall antics are hilarious and atleast he's trying to be the rock n' roll spirit back into music. there's a lot of wimpy ass musicians out there. back in the day axl and g n'r were holding it down and so were oasis in the 90's and now it seems that kanye is holding the baton.

50: insert eyeroll - there's a reason he's been shot so many times
Usher - annoying little boy who thinks he's hot shit
Justin - arrogant. should be himself
R.Kelly - b/c of the kids
Bobby B. - b/c he got stuck in 1989 and never left
Kanye - talented dude and knows it. arrogant but with reason I guess
Princey-Baby: only dislike lack of advance notification/pre-planning associated with 3121 dates

so much venom... I feel lighter now
Cool, but I'm leavin' my pants on.

Sometimes it's not necessarily hate, it's just that I don't love them the same amount as some people...

1) I don't like rap that much, and if I did, it wouldn't be him. That mumbling annoys me, and I think his "I got shot so U gotta love me" image is stupid.
2) Usher is cool enough, I guess- except sometimes he seems like he thinks he's the only dancer left- and he's too fine!
3) Timberfake? Timberflake? I played "Justified" 'til it skipped. It seemed like a good effort, and it was great at the gym. Then that 2nd shit came out. I gave it to a teenager at my church. He's trying too hard to capture the "urban market". Yeah, he's "hip"... (more sarcasm here). thumbs up!
4) It has nothing to do with the kids. I hated his ass before he "thought he could fly". He's a wannabe thug/lover. But sometimes he sings gospel! rolleyes
5) No opinion about BB- I find him too amusing to formally diss or defend. lol
6) Kanye is okay, I guess. The past 2 years seemed like "Kanye Overload"- he had started to become a caricature.
7) Prince? See, now... wink

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

I don't hate any of them, but I'll sum up why/if I don't care for their music:

Boring and unintelligible

Uninspired

Meh

Peaked with Public Announcement

Fun for about two albums

Maybe if he was half as interesting as he thought he was

Is this from SNL's Prince Show?

Najee

He likely would be dead somewhere if he wasn't a rapper.

I have no problem with him, but it seems like obsolescence is setting in.

He's nothing but another Jon B.

He simply took what made GUY and Aaron Hall popular and repackaged it.

He did a pretty bang-up job in destroying his career and is now a joke.

He's nothing but The Educated Rapper from the group UTFO.

50 Cent: Boring. Unintelligable. Glorifies stupid thug bullshit.

Usher: A good dancer, but overrated as a singer and a performer overall. Have heard WAY too many mentions of him being the new King of Pop to even count.

Timberlake: I can fully admit here that part of my dislike for this twat is left-over petty boyband rivalry. I was more of a Backstreet Girl. But that doesn't fully entail it either. A lot of it's the same reasons I dislike Usher. That and he's trying way too hard to be "urban".

R. Kelly: Makes stupid, sleazy music. Is a stupid, sleazy man. The fact that support for him actually went up after the incident with the little girl just sealed the deal. His fans are as fucked up as he is. disbelief

Bobby Brown: I don't have an opinion either way on the guy.

Kanye West: Full of himself, and without justification. Highly overrated both as a rapper and a style icon. Since when is dressing like an Ivy League dork a measure of cool? And Gold Digger is one hell of an annoying song.

Prince: Now, clearly I love this guy. But his poor decision making over the years and occasionally embarassing public behaviour never earned him any brownie points.

[b]Ok I will bite....

Not a fan but he's doing more than most people...more power to him.

50 Cent

I really don't like him but he worked hard to get where he is...another person done more than me so can't/won't hate.

Usher

I actually like him...im not concerned with his personality and I don't expect his music to be the next coming of Stevie Wonder either. I accept him for what he is and that is all.

Justin Timberlake

I dig some of his stuff...think he is a talented cat that got away from his potential...and again not gonna hate....

R.Kelly

I love Bobby...Music and personality he does his thing regardless...I respec that...I don't respect his decisions but his attitude I like

Bobby Brown

Really dislike him personally, but do like some of his beats....not too keen on his solo stuff but again not gonna diss....

Kanye West

sigh....

Granted this is a chat room and people pretty much come to this section to spread their opinion/dislike mostly but that takes far more energy than im willing to expend...If I don't like someone I don't listen to them or discuss them but thats just me.
clever clever quotation - attention getting quote - sad yet witty remark - look at me! Im deep quote- song lyric about my ex cause that bitch stole my mp3 player! - line from movie I liked - Prince lyric - not very clever sig mocking other sigs

50 Cent - If getting shot 5 times makes you a credible artist to some people, than those people really need to stop smoking the crackrock. Someone obviously had shitty aim, because I don't know how else he would be still alive right now if they were actually good shots. I haven't liked 50 cent from day one of his career and the one time I watched him do an interview was very painful for me. He just needs to take his shirt off and not talk, but even then, I would have to put a bag over that gorilla face of his. For the longest time, I would say that G-unit stood for Gorilla unit.

Usher - I don't like Usher for the same reason I don't like Kanye West. People who have that "I'm God's gift to mankind" mentality, should be ignored as much as possible. Usher and 50 should get together, seeing as how I always thought that Usher looked like Curious George...another one that should just take off his shirt, shut his mouth, and put the bag over that oblong dome of his.

Kanye West - Why couldn't they have just left his mouth wired shut after that car accident? Some of his stuff is good, but not good enough to warrant that cocky ass tude he's throwin' out. Also, see above for another reason why I can't stand this fool.

Justin Timberlake - Besides the fact that he's a punk at times, I don't think he's all that bad.

R.Kelly - "Molester, Molester"...I never really was an R. Kelly fan. Some of his songs were good, but the only song I have to say that I absolutely love from him was "Fortunate", which was preformed by Maxwell....such a beautiful song, but doesn't make me overlook the fact that the man pees on kids. To hear people saying that the 14 year old child didn't seem to mind makes me wonder about those people. She was a child and like most children are legally stupid until they're at least 18 (some for longer than that). I can't believe he's not in jail, but that female teacher who had "consentual" sex with one of her students is...what kinda shit is that?...how is that fair? And all these people pointing the finger at MJ for supposedly molesting two kids. They were ready to put MJ in jail and throw away the key with no major evidence except some kids asking for money, because their parents told them to; but they had a series of video tapes with R. Kelly screwing more than one minor and his case got dropped. If one goes down, then they all should go down, because a child molester is a child molester...period.

Bobby Brown - Bobby Brown is about the realest dude on this list. He's been the same his entire life and career, so I have no reason to hate on the man. I find him amusing as hell and only wish that he would get his grill fixed, but it's the same messed up set of teeth he's had his whole life, so whatever. Years ago, I actually didn't like Bobby because I felt that he fucked up Whitney's career, but then I realized that Whitney did that all by herself, so my apologies to Bobby for the placing the blame on the wrong person.

Prince - Prince just needs to stop trying to convert people. Plus, I really wish that he would actually let someone write his life story, so people can see who he really is instead of drawing their own conclusions. I just want him to let people in to see the real Prince.

I love Prince. However, I'm not an ass kisser and I have no problem telling people when I don't like particular things he's made or done.

As for the others, they are shit hop which is the ultimate in bullshit. I guess my easiest answer would be.....they ain't funk and if they ain't funk, they need to sit their asses down and leave the airwaves open for someone that will make funk.
