Pull-An-Artist-Out-of-Ya-Hat Thread: Camp Lo :: Luchini (This Is It) :::
Since folks are hating on hip hop around the org, I decided to take it back to '96 with this gem from Camp Lo called "Luchini (This Is It)." It was back around the time when a lot of rappers were adopting a '70s blaxpoltation aesthetic in their videos and aura like Wyclef Jean's The Carnival "We're Trying To Stay Alive" and Jay-Z's "Who Ya Wit" from the Sprung SDTK. Here's the video for Camp Lo :: Luchini (This Is It) [ video ]

Brings back memories of 6th grade I remember some girls were bumping this song in a drug store parking lot back in '96. It used to be a popular song on L.A. radio back then. Came out around the time of The Fugees' Score LP. That whole retro-'70s time in mainstream east coast hip hop.
