I love that Justin playing a poseur in a skit doesn't even come off as an act.

It seems like in half the skits he was playing posers! Honestly, most of the skits were things he did on previous shows like the dancing cup and the Barry Gibb show but "Dick in a Box" was pretty funny. They're always trying to top that "Chronciles of Narnia" bit from last year at CHristmas. [Edited 12/17/06 11:32am]

Sorry the boy has talent, regardless of what his role was in past events. You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

This thread isn't about whether Justin has talent or not. I just thought the skit was funny and well put together.

Sorry the boy has talent, regardless of what his role was in past events. He has talent but that performance is a cleverly crafted combination of live and tracked audio. The rhythm guitarist was NOT playing the part on the song, the background vocals had Justin's vocals in them. Now unless he has mastered the art of using both his primary and secondary vocal cords like the Gregorian monks, I highly doubt he was singing lead AND background vocals at the same time. While Mike Scott and Justin may have been live and the musicians playing over tracks, there are most assuredly some tracked parts in that performance. Just thought I'd point that out.

He can't really sing that well (grating falsetto after grating falsetto). But he is probably a better performer than Usher....eh, maybe not.

Sorry the boy has talent, regardless of what his role was in past events. I made no claims against his apparent talent, only against his general stance as a wienie.

Say what you want but he sure seemed to be having a hell of a time.
He came off as fun witty and enjoying doing the whole SNL show. This was probably the best show this season, and its mostly to do him, haters The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I honestly think he has some talent, but he's so unpalatable that it makes it near impossible to stomach any of his music (and I'm not even referring to anything that may/may not have happened in February 2004, as was alleged). I grew up around a million boys like him in the south who loved to prove how down they were, and it's kinda stomach turning for me. I'm usually a pleasant kinda asshole; some people just bring out the worst in me. That's why I rarely step in these JT threads and probably shouldn't in the future. Oh, yeah, the skit kinda made me laugh. lazycrockett said: Say what you want but he sure seemed to be having a hell of a time.
