I remember that NBC did a similar special for Shania Twain, and I was actually at the show which was taped for that special, and they left out a few songs on the telecast. The same thing happened with the U2 special which was on CBS a few years ago, but those portions which were edited out ended up on the full-version DVD. 
 The commerical breaks killed it. It would be much better on DVD. Seems like an amazing show. I hope the DVD comes out on DVD in general. Any news on how well it did...you know if it wasn't number one, critics will consider it a diaster! | |

I had pretty much written her off in the Lucky Star era so I wasn't aware of how much more interesting she got over the years until I saw her in 2004.
