Photography is straight dead. No one knows how to do lighting worth a damn anymore. The models are complete shit. And then they take the photos and 'shop them till they look like an impressionist landscape. WTF.

The reason people remember the stars of yesteryear so fondly is because they didn't fuck with their pictures as much. They would leave some imperfections in so they'd still look like human beings. Gwen looks like a Real Doll getting tongued by some dude.

I really hate LaChappelle All he did is take Richard Avedon's work and make it slutty. And then he decided color substituted for proper lighting He makes everyone he photographs look like a nasty whore. And they STILL don't know how to pose.
