This is so sad and such a waste of a great talent. Why isn't there anyone in his life that can help him? I don't believe that smoking pot is harming him, I believe he suffers from depression and low self esteem and therefore he turns to drugs. His friends and family need to get him some help before it's too late. He'll end up dead otherwise.

I don't know what to think of him anymore. When he was on Oprah I thought he was doing so much better. Obviously he's still struggling with something. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

>>>The singer's partner, Kenny Goss, told The Sun that Michael had nothing to say. "He's fine and I've got him a McDonald's," he said.<<< Well his partner doesn't seem to think hes has a problem. Just as long as we keep feeding him Big Macs

Why can't his partner get him help???? George Michael is already heading for disaster. Next thing you know we will be reading his obituary. He's obviously hurting and depressed. maybe he's got narcolepsy?
seriously though, why on earth does he keep driving?? Don't celebs have limo drivers to take them around everywhere?

Its really becoming a sad story. I mean everyone was ragging on Elton John for his comments about George, but Elton spoke the truth, George has some major issues, and they are the same ones that Elton had through the 80's. I mean elton used to do coke, five minutes before his show, go out on stage and sometimes u could see traces of it by his lip, thats how bad it was, and of course his Food and alcohol issues. George is headed right for the same issues, and honestly one of these headlines one day, may not be an arrest, it may be for his death. This tour that george is on now is the biggest mistake ever, great to see him performing, but it seems he is doing it just to raise money for his addictions, to quote George himself, "Wake up...Before U Go Go..... George hasn't got a problem. He should hire himself a driver. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

George hasn't got a problem. He should hire himself a driver. Then why is he arrested again, and legally drunk, behind the wheel, and high. I dont think people will be satisfied till George gets drunk and gets killed in an accident. ya know what - if the person i loved were fucking up that much, i would be getting all hardcore tough love on his ass and getting him the treatment he needs and scheduling interventions left and right until he was sick and tired of hearing every person he knows bitching at him about what a drugged out loser he is. i don't mess around when people i care about start goofing up because of that bullshit.

This goes way beyond smoking weed. GM has had issues for years. I don't think he's stable at all. He needs a real intervention and serious help and support from his loved ones. If his current lover is in denial, then GM's in more trouble that we all thought. Doesn't he have one person in his life who won't bullshit him and will do anything to get him some help?

I know I was being facetious. But yeah it does appear his man is not in the picture emotionally or supportively. And marijuana is also a depressant so I wonder what's up. Well its true, George has always had issues, he had weight insecurities as a kid, no friends, his father never thought he was good enough. His mother was his best friend, but then he lost her and i still feel George has no real friends, sure he has a partner, but im starting to think that partner is just as bad as he is. So when Elton John made the comment that everyone got so upset about, TOUGH, it was true, honestly what a waste George has become, he has major issues, and the fact that he pushed away Eltons comments, just goes to show the denial he is in, this reminds me alot of Daryl Strawberry who all through the 90's blamed everyone for his addictions, except one person, himself, recently i heard Daryl talking and he finally was talking like he should have been all those years, taking blame instead of denying it. George i think its time, but i dont think George has someone to push him to that step. I don't think he's happy. I also don't understand his partner's stance, but none of us know them personally, so we can't judge too much... However, if it were me though, I would have walked out on him a long time ago.
Anomynous sex in bushes; Driving whilst stoned and drunk; Making a joke out of his constant indiscretions... He needs some kind of intervention before he kills himself, either unintentionally - or intentionally.

I'm starting to think, Kenny, is just one of those "Yes" men like Michael Jackson was known to have around him during the 90s. One of those people who would say, "OKAY. WHATEVER YOU DO IS FINE." Personally, I'm just wondering if Kenny is keeping him around for the sake of the lifestyle, and not as much for caring for George's wellbeing. I mean, I suppose that it could be, he knows, if he stands up against George and threatens to leave, George might not care. Perhaps Kenny knows, George would pick drugs over him, which in that case, what kind of relationship do they have? Or at worst, Kenny is a drinker and druggie, and bringing George down...
I don't know what to make of all this. I wonder if it will effect the tour and the CD/DVD in November. I mean, he might be facing jail time this time around. Hmmmm..... Bottom line: This is one big mess.

Y'know maybe George's major issue is having his personal life spread on the front pages of the tabloids and judged around the water cooler. When everyone thinks you're f**ked up, when you f**k up, people think it's a deep seated unhappiness.
I think the tabloids make a target out of him for being successful, political, high profile and unapologetically gay. Unlike the more non-threatening types (e.g. Elton John or Harvey Fierstein) George projects sexuality. Cannabis, sex with strangers in public places; many consider it a sad cry for help from a troubled soul; for others, it makes an enjoyable weekend, though you probably wouldn't want to tell everyone the details. My P.S. Someone take his driving license away, please. [judgement edit] [Edited 10/2/06 16:48pm]
