Alice in Chains "Would?"

Know me broken by my master
Teach thee on child of love hereafter

Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way

Drifting body its sole desertion
Flying not yet quite the notion

[2x]
Into the flood again
Same old trip it was back then
So I made a big mistake
Try to see it once my way

[2x]
Am I wrong?
Have I run too far to get home
Have I gone?
And left you here alone

If I would, could you?

Love this song. I play it at least four times a day. One of the best rock tunes ever, IMO. Anyone else feeling me on this?

4 times a day eek The Dirt album is litle too dark for me to listen to it over and over, though when it came out I played it non-stop.

Love this; the way he sings it really kicks my ass every time I listen to it.

For my money, the best Alice in Chains disc is 'Jar of Flies'; really makes me wish that Layne was still with us.

Would? is an incredible song. Alice in Chains was such a great band. Dark and brooding metal but beautifuland thought provoking as well. So sad about Layne, he was truly as tragic a figure as Cobain. He just couldn't kick the junk and he knew it was going to get him sooner or later.

Best album...Dirt, followed up by Face lift.

Jar of Flies is a good one too.

Even worse than the fact that Layne is gone is the knowledge that they recruited someone to take his place in the band. Sacrilege

I saw him(and the rest of AIC) performing with Heart on VH1. I thought he was adequate. Of course no one can replace Layne. RIP.

Yeah. I don't think I've listened to that album in years, actually. I might dust it off now, though.
