But you just said it has "great, snappy vocals". "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

TO BE FAIR, she was a meth addict. It quite possibly contributed to her musical judgement. "You could say I'm a terminal case/You could burn up my clothes/Smash up my ride...well, maybe not the ride"

I was commenting on what MsMisha was saying about white girls from kids shows doing hip-hop. Christina was singing on MMC, Fergie wasn't rapping on KI. And my comment wasn't really about her being white and rapping, it's about her past on KI and as a member of Wild Orchid! Super corny. Now, she wants to do hip hop because it's "in". Give me a fucking break. I don't believe for a second that she is 100% REAL. Just trying to sell records. If Xtina started rapping, I would feel the same way Smooches;)

If Xtina started rapping, I would feel the same way Smooches;) Before My Humps or London Bridge (both songs written by will.i.am), Fergie role in BEP was basically to sing hooks (which Kim Hill was doing before, despite never becoming a full-time member of the group to begin with). Spend a lot of time in one of the very few positive underground rap groups to have mainstream success is enough to make Fergie feel welcome in the hip-hop culture. But with the crossover-pop culture fans & media singling out THIS woman as the reason for BEP sucess on the international pop charts (Remember: will.i.am is the producer & BEP real band leader!), It was only a matter of time before Fergie would go solo, no surprise there. But to go solo as a singer & rappper? I agree with you, WTF is wrong with THIS picture!!!

Why does this white girl think she is hip hop? She was on Kids Incorporated Smooches;) She's actually mixed: white, Mexican and Native American. Still not black however. "You could say I'm a terminal case/You could burn up my clothes/Smash up my ride...well, maybe not the ride"
